Citrus Memories
It is the place where memories are emerged out of documents, photos and tools, all related to the history of citrus fruits at Campos. In fact, “Citrus Memories” is a gallery which includes the following divisions:
- Citrus Cultivation –cultivation practices, tools, methods of production related to the oranges, tangerines etc.
- Citrus Society – people, owners and workmen, played the main role at the cultivation and commerce blossom in the world market.
- Citrus Commerce –the unique wrapping of fruits, one by one, and the distribution of the products initially to the Turkish markets (Constantinople and Smyrna), early in the 15th century and later to the European markets, up to the end of the 20th century.
- Citrus Area –Presentation of the estates of Campos with emphasis on the surrounding walls, the orchards and the draw-wells.

The Citrus company was founded in 2008. The motive was to revive and project the history of the cultivation, harvest and commerce of the citrus fruits at Chios. It is an initiative which objects to connect the past with the present and future of citrus at Campos in a dynamic way.
